Family Discipleship Ministries

Family Discipleship Ministries (FDM) is a network of ministers and believers with a passion to advance the culture of heaven. The ministry network focuses on raising up leaders and training them in discipleship, worship, and missions. We believe in authentic relationships, developing fully committed followers of Jesus Christ, and enriching the world through servant-leadership. FDM is primarily led by a Leadership Team. However, we believe that in order to walk with the richest anointing possible, we need the input from recognized voices in the body of Christ who consistently minister in our lives. FDM exists to mentor those in relationship within the network. We desire to equip leaders in both the marketplace and ministry. Our vision is to release these leaders and help them maintain healthy lives.

It is an honor and a privilege to be part of Family Discipleship Ministries. I love the family of FDM, how we support each other and encourage each other in the good times and through the struggles. Ministry is hard and it is comforting to know there is a safe place to land and be real with fellow ministers.

Our History

After being an organic ministry movement for many years, Family Discipleship Ministries was officially organized and chartered in 2000. Eddie & Beth Taylor founded the ministry with Ray & Sabrina Owens to be a vehicle for life-giving ministry and churches. Rodney & Renee Thrift were added to the Board of Directors in 2005.

Continued

In 2012, the Directors discerned strong guidance from the Lord to invest their focus in ministry to the ministers & leaders of the network. God has blessed that effort and the network has expanded. In 2013, the Directors were renamed as the Lead Team. In 2019 as the ministry had grown, Jeremy & Greta Owens and Andy & Danielle Stinespring were added in as Lead Team members. We are continuing to seek ways to be found faithful to the call and gifts that Holy Spirit has provided to us.
